Hola amigos! I’m Suraj Prasad, currently a pre-final year student at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay). My focus is on computer science and artificial intelligence. I’m currently working with Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan on agentic RAG and Knowledge Graph for Kural gpt and Prof. Amit Sethi on Vision Language model for Federated Learning. Recently, I’ve been involved in Building OCR Pipeline for Indic Langauges with BharatGen .

My research mainly explores foundational models, especially those based on transformer architectures for language and vision tasks. I’m particularly intrigued by these models’ “black box” nature and am eager to find ways to improve their logical and reasoning abilities.

In addition to my research, I have focused on privacy concerns in machine learning, especially on medical dataset . Earlier, I worked with Dr. Kshitij Jadhav on medical image segmentation, investigating various methods for anonymising medical documents.

At IIT Bombay, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities alongside my academic pursuits. In my third year, I served as the manager of Aerove, after working as a Computer Vision Engineer there during my sophomore year. Our team secured prestigious positions in two international competitions. At Robodrive 2024, we achieved 4th place globally. In the Stranger Sections 2 competition, we ranked 49th out of 296 top international research teams. Beyond technical contributions, I also played a key role in organizing events, workshops, and hackathons to foster creativity and skill development among students.
